Direct Restorations (Fillings)
Direct restorations, commonly called "fillings" are done in one appointment where the tooth cavity is prepared and then immediatly filled. Materials used as fillings are most commonly either silver amalgam,(metal) or composite resin (white plastic).
There are advantages and disadvantage with both of these materials. We will discuss these with you and help you decide what material is most appropriate for your individual, specifc situation.
